The Social Fund scheme helped people whose needs were difficult to meet from regular income. The Social Fund Computer System records and processes current and historical Social Fund applications for Budgeting Loans, Funeral and Maternity Grants, Crisis Loans and Community Care Grants. This data includes individual level information, as well as geographic and financial information, and is produced on a monthly basis. The information recorded includes Name, National Insurance Number, Address, Application details and Payment details.
