Summary

Magnetometer and side-scan sonar surveys, followed by diver examination of area thought to contain wreckage of the 16th century warship EDWARD BONAVENTURE (EDWARD BONAVENTURA) undertaken by the Archaeological Diving Unit (ADU); following documentary research by a member of the Fraserburgh Heritage Centre. Two discrete anomalies were located by magnetometer survey but visual inspection failed to identify any archaeological remains on the seabed. The size of the search area is not given in the ADU report.
