Summary

The proposed North Hoyle Offshore Wind Farm will be approximately 7.5km from the North Wales coast off Prestatyn and Rhyl. The wind farm will feature thirty modern, efficient wind powered turbines each with a maximum rated capacity of 3MW, providing a maximum capacity of up to 90MW.

The scope of the Environmental Statement has taken account of the scale and nature of the proposed wind farm with consideration to the context of the surrounding area and impacts on the physical, biological and human environments. The EIA process has been conducted with detailed and extensive consultation with regulators, statutory consultees, non-statutory consultees, interested parties and the public.
