Laminaria hyperborea dominated kelp forest on bedrcok with rugged relief. Pebbles in the gully bottoms with some silt cover in the lee. Kelp stipes with rich flora, mainly Cryptopleura ramosa, Phycodrys rubens, Membranoptera alata and Palmaria palmata, covered by Electra pilosa and Alcyonidium hirsutum. Very little on fronds except a little Obelia geniculata. Understorey algae quite dense though not particularly diverse. Actinothoe sphyrodeta common on rocks, and clavelinid sp. common in crevices. Also 2 Edwardsiella carnea seen in a crevice. |
