Not set Not set MOD Not set MOD Future Reserves 2020 (FR20) Public Sector Employer Engagement and Recruitment Activity Employer Conferences Additional Spend (Retrospective) 14/15 (NB - There was some confusion regarding the original Future Reserves ERG request as the ERF was incorrectly labelled as a SaBRE project. This activity was actually proposed by the Future Reserves team & there was therefore no overlap in recruitment activity). (This request was processed internally & did not go up to MCO). MOD have submitted a request for retrospective approval for activity promoting reservist recruitment and encouraging employers to adopt a more positive attitude towards reservist recruitment. £12,000 28/07/2014
Not set Not set MOD Not set MOD royal Navy recruitment, Uplift Royal Navy Ratings, 2014/15 This submission requests an uplift in spend against the previously approved ERG submission (HMG1060). MOD note that the recruiting challenge continues to rise, with application numbers now below the safe level for medium-term sustainability (the next 18-24 months). Specifically they cite a reduction in the numbers of candidates within the system (the ?header tank?). They say that the improving job market, particularly youth unemployment figures are also likely to impact recruitment levels. This proposal would primarily extend the use of TV advertising, alongside cinema and video-on-demand, and is planned to take place this autumn and next spring. £160,000 02/09/2014
