Headcount will be lower that that reported on monthly WMI and ONS returns, as most employees transferred to PHE in 2013 on AfC T&Cs and are mapped to their 'equivalent' CS grade for these returns. 2. It was deemed appropriate to calculate the pay pot using month 12 and annualising, as at transition (1 April 2013) very few staff were on CS terms. In addition, staff who have voluntarily moved over to CS terms between the end of the appraisal year and before 1 August, with appropriate service, were eligible for the CS award. There were therefore 325 more staff on CS terms at 1 August (1470) than at 31 March 2014 (1145). 3. Max delegated grade award:- two staff were paid £1200 as they were eligible for the DH award due to previous service and one £1400 for MOJ service. These amounts are included in 'totals' paid, but not in the median figures. |
