Abundant Tubularia indivisa in the sublittoral fringe with many sponge crusts above, particularly Halichondria panicea and Hymeniacidon perleve. Lighter areas at the top of the overhang had common Plumaria elegans with Grantia compressa and Lomentaria articulata.(Sub-habitat of 613.001.001) |

Overhangs were widespread and dominated by a rich and diverse bryozoa and porifera covering. Corynactis viridis and Caryophyllia smithii were both frequent. In shaded tunnel Tubularia indivisa and Leuconia nivea were frequent. Barnacles, mostly Verruca stroemia, anomiidae, spirorbidae, Pomatoceros triqueter and corallinaceae crusts completed the sessile fauna. Mobile species were sparse, dominantly Calliostoma zizyphinum. Algal growth was diverse and rich with dominant species including Plumaria elegans, Hypoglossum hypoglossoides, Lomentaria articulata and Cryptopleura ramosa. A rich and diverse habitat. |

Upper surfaces had abundant Semibalanus balanoides, Patella vulgata and a low red algal turf of Lomentaria articulata and Laurencia pinnatifida. Fucus serratus was sparse, with abundant Laminaria digitata in the sublittoral fringe. Many patches of Mytilus edulis spat were present. |

Lomentaria spp. were frequent as were Ceramium spp. and Cryptopleura ramosa growing epiphytically. Sargassum muticum was frequent in the higher pools. Patella ulyssiponensis and corallinacaeae were frequent throughout.(Sub-habitat of 613.001.001) |
