Gullies held many shallow and deep pools. Deep pools recorded as subhabitat 2. Bedrock dominated by Chthamalus spp, Semibalanus balanoides and Patella vulgata with areas of B. crenatus spat. Laurencia pinnatifida exploited cracks and fissures and patches of shallow standing water held mostly ephemeral summer algae. Shallow pools were dominated by corallinacae and Patella ulyssiponensis with occasional Enteromrpha sp and Ceramium sp. Grazing high by Patella spp, Monodonta lineata and Gibbula spp. |

A few as rock mills, most with a few cobbles and some mixed sand. Pools dominated by coralline algae with ocasional large browns, kelp, Halidrys and Cystoseira sp. Foliose red algae scarce, filamentous common, especially Ceramium spp. Anthozoa well represented though low abundance except for many Anemonia viridis. Sessile fauna impoverished. Asterina gibbosa suprisingly common.(Sub-habitat of 615.001.003) |

Verrucaria maura almost absent. Lichina confinis most conspicous, but only in a very few localities. Other lichens present arly. Fissures held Ligia oceanica and Petrobius maritimus. |
