Algae were characterised by Cryptopleura ramosa, Plocamium cartilagineum and Apoglossum ruscifolium. Between the algae were sponges, predominantly Esperiopsis fucorum and Haliclona viscosa, bryozoan turf and tunicates. |

Horizontal surfaces were dominated by a dense turf of bryozoans and hydroids in a mosaic with a variety of encrusting sponges. Vertical faces that experienced accelerated tidal streams had dense Dendrodoa grossularia and Tubularia indivisa. A wide variety of encrusting and erect sponges made this site interesting. |

The turf was dominated by Aglaophenia pluma, Alcyonidium diaphinum, Polyclinum aurantium, erect sponges, Balanus crenatus, Caryophyllia smithii and bryozoan crusts. A very rich site for sponges which would benefit from a more detailed study. |

Bryozoan, sponge and barnacle cover was moderate, although not diverse. Aslia lefevrei occurred in abundance, in most boulder holes. |
