The Information Standards Board is changing

Submitted by Graeme on 4 December 2015 - 10:58am

Deep Sagar’s contract finished at the end of November.  A new chair has not been appointed as the Information Standards Board will be making some changes over the coming months.  It is intended that the ISB will be split into two boards; a strategy board and a delivery board, with a smaller TSS to support it.

The strategy board would set the strategic direction of ISB, getting the right balance between development and usage of the model.  It would focus on getting the sector to use the system.

The strategy board would oversee a delivery board that directs the delivery of data standards and the data model.  It would essentially referee any conflicting priorities in the implementation of various projects, and escalate any issues to the strategy board as they arose.
