Introduction:

The ISB data block message design technical data standard describes how ISB conformant data must be “wrapped” to form data messages when XML is the physical encoding method. It defines the overall data block XML encoding (XSD) identifying the various layers of the XSD and how each layer should be used.

The document also defines the overall data block concept. The document does not define each data block in terms of its XML design as the relevant technical data standard and business data standard for a particular data block identified in the XSD should be referred to.

The document provides an overview of the XSD design showing graphically how the XSD is structured. An XSD file is also available.
