Introduction:

Controlled lists represent the possible values of a constrained attribute for data interchange.

This controlled list describes the controlled values for party relationship role reference status type.

This controlled list is referred to by the Party_RR_Reference_Status_Type attribute of the Party Relationship Role entity, which is defined within the Party Relationship Role Business Data Standard.

This controlled list defines the permitted set of statuses for the reference number associated with a relationship between two parties. Although a number is usually assigned to provide a convenient reference for one party by another (e.g. the Unique Pupil Number that is assigned within the relationship between a pupil and the DfE in connection with statutory education, or the Unique Learner Number assigned to a Learner by LRS), it can sometimes happen that the relationship exists but no number has (yet) been assigned. This controlled list expounds the reasons for such an occurrence.

This controlled list is considered to be one that a user might pick a value from, for example “not yet assigned - is below age limit” or “unable to obtain” may be provided as options on a screen.

It is intended for use by, for example, ICT procurers, system developers, programmers, data modellers and statisticians.
