This presents the data from the National Asthma and COPD Audit Programme's (NACAP) secondary care children and young people asthma clinical and organisational audit 2019/20.
Clinical audit
The continuous audit, which captures the process and clinical outcomes of treatment in patients admitted to hospitals in England, Scotland and Wales, launched on 1 June 2019. This is the first report post-launch of continuous data collection, which presents the results of over 8,500 patients that arrived at hospital on or after 1 June 2019, who were admitted to adult hospital services, and discharged by 31 January 2019.
Organisational audit
The snapshot audit captures the structure and organisation of CYP asthma services between December 2019 and February 2020.
