The Catchment Abstraction Management Strategy (CAMS) technical assessment boundaries are used to define which water resource demands fall into each technical assessment. CAMS helps to look at the balance between society, the economy and the environment. The technical assessment helps identify where water may be available for future use but also where water resource demands may be impacting the water balance. The CAMS technical assessment boundaries should be used on a national (England and Wales) scale to show the geographical distribution of CAMS. This is a spatial dataset.
