Description of the contract
Videos could be required in various formats for viewing in different media (for example on Ordnance Survey’s You Tube channel, on its website, in broadcast quality for TV, in presentations and so on). A high quality ‘master’ copy will also be required (1080p: 1920 x 1080 25FPS H264(HQ)) for archiving. Videos must conform to Ordnance Survey’s corporate identity guidelines, include our corporate opening & closing title frames (which will be supplied) and will involve close liaison with relevant Ordnance Survey staff during the whole production process. The types of videos required will vary in type and length, for example, they could include any of the following: • Promotional videos for our products and services • Recording of events • Short documentary films • Videos including live action, animated graphics or a mixture of both • ‘Talking Heads’ videos Typical examples can be found on the Ordnance Survey You Tube channel (http://www.youtube.com/user/OSMapping) Participants are invited to submit a brief proposal which should be no more than one side of A4, summarising how this would be conducted, together with the associated production prices together with a fuly costed quote for the sample videos below. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U_jM-UfGHHk http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=grV156pIOK0 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D5xGI3wnZBk In your response you may wish to include some brief details of your experience/skills for the following: - range of equipment used for video production - quality standards of video production - video editing and associated software - special effects, graphics and animations Plus evidence of experience in conducting similar videos and/or client testimonials Please note that there is no registration of interest required; email proposals to angela.morcumb@ordnancesurvey.co.uk by no later than 14:00 hrs on 28th January 2013
