To design and kick start innovative communication and behaviour change interventions to improve citizens’ attitudes towards and general awareness of tax and its role in the national economy. This campaign should educate, inform, and aim to create a positive shift in the tax culture in Pakistan. It will nudge individuals’ and businesses’ attitudes towards being proud of paying their fair share of taxes for the greater good of Pakistan. It should aim to evoke a sense of shame in those who do not pay their fair share of tax. Ultimately the campaign will help widen the tax net, minimise opposition, and increase compliance, including increasing the number of tax returns.
