Description of the contract

Investing in Children (the “Supported PSM”) is a live mutual based in Durham, which formally spun out of Durham County Council in May 2013. The Supported PSM established its legal entity as a Community Interest Company, has nine members of staff, all of which are employed on a full-time basis. The business was set up to help (predominately public sector) organisations, e.g. local authorities, hospitals, schools, youth clubs, etc, work with children and young people in shaping more efficient and effective policies and services, in order to improve delivery. The Supported PSM is looking for support in order to consolidate their existing financial position, and to grow the business through increasing their client base across the UK and Europe.
