Samples were taking by a community group (Narwhal Expeditions) using the NatureScot Community-Led Marine Monitoring Handbook. Survey forms were transcribed into a spreadsheet following data validation guidance (available from NatureScot) and the samples were quality controlled by an expert verifier. DASSH internal QC.
