Species point records from 1997 MNCR east Anglesey littoral survey
Littoral survey from Point Lynas, E Anglesey to Rhos-on-sea using standard MNCR techniques for recording, photography and sediment sampling. Of the 29 sites, fourteen were of sediment. Large areas of the survey area, such as Conwy Bay, Lavan Sands, Red Wharf Bay and Dulas Bay are sediments comprising sand and muddy sand. Rocky shores are restricted to the Little and Great Ormes Heads, Puffin Island, SE Anglesey, Moelfre and Point Lynas.
