Tidal Generation Ltd (TGL) Sampling Survey 2007/9_TGL: Orkney Tidal Generation Project (04/May/2007 to 11/May/2007)
This marine sampling survey took place in May 2007. Tidal Generation Ltd (TGL) contracted the British Geological Survey (BGS) to undertake seabed rock coring at a tidal generation test site in Orkney. TGL contracted the Delta Marine vessel Voe Viking to carry out the work and the European Marine Energy Centre (EMEC), who manage the test site, oversaw and agreed all operations at site. The resulting cores and data are archived by BGS but all information should be regarded as confidential. Technical details of the survey are contained in the Operations Report.
