Conservation Areas

Abstract

An area of special architectural or historic interest, designated under the Planning (Listed Buildings & Conservation Areas) Act 1991, whose character and appearance is desirable to preserve and enhance. As of 24th July 2014, new designations for Woodford Bridge and The Bungalow Estate (formerly Mayfield) Conservation Areas came in to effect. This version of the Conservation Area layer, reflects these changes.
