Abstract

The files contain backscattered (BSE) SEM images and photomicrographs of studied samples form Vanua Lava, Vanuatu (New Hebrides). The samples are mantle xenolith found in situ in lava boulders.

Lineage

The original samples are very small (less than or equal to 10 cm). The thick sections were prepared and polished prior SEM imaging. Backscattered electron images have been collected at 20kV.
