Broadscale survey and mapping of seabed biota in Loch Creran, Argyll - Biotopes
A broadscale benthic survey of Loch Creran was carried out in 1998-1999. The primary objective of the study was to map the sublittoral habitats and delimit biotopes. AGDS was used, ground-truthed by grab sampling, ROV, diver video and stills photography. GIS maps were created by an MSc student. The substrate map produced from this project (GB000941) can be found at Topcat UUID=fcd3e70c-743e-408a-877c-4eb67d5b2bde.
