St Paul's Depths
The St Paul’s Heights policy framework is set out in City Plan 2036 Strategic Policy S13: Protected Views and Local Plan Protected Views Policy CS13. Further guidance set out in the St Paul’s and Monument Views Supplementary Planning Guidance 2002. St Paul’s Depths to be used with layers:St Paul’s Policy, St Paul’s Heights Grid, St Paul’s Heights Points, St Paul’s Heights SetbackThe City of London (St Paul’s Cathedral Preservation) Act 1935 defines an area near St Paul’s where development below prescribed ‘depths’ is controlled in order to protect the stability of the Cathedral (Figure 6). See the Protected Views SPD for further information.Depth - The prescribed depth at which developments are not permitted to exceed.
