Environmental Permitting Regulations - Landfill Sites Quarterly Summary
The Environmental Permitting Regulations brought together the IPPC (Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control) Directive (EC/61/96) and the Waste Management Licensing Regulations in England and Wales. Facilities covered by this legislation are known as Installations or Waste Operations and include permitted operational and closed landfill sites. Further information on the Environmental Permitting Regulations (EPR) and the IPPC directive is available on www.gov.uk This dataset covers all permitted landfill sites within the EPR regime and may be installations or waste operations.
