Tree Preservation Orders
TPO
Dataset provides details of the location and description of Tree Preservation Orders (TPO) covering specified individual trees or areas.TPOs protect specific trees or a particular area, group or woodland from deliberate damage and destruction. This data relates to orders in place on individual trees and areas in Fife.Felling, lopping, topping, uprooting or otherwise willful damaging of trees without the permission of the Local Planning Authority are prohibited on such trees and areas.

Either individual specimens or groups can be protected in a single Order.This data relates to orders in place on individual trees.
