Site boundaries of wetlands of international importance under the Ramsar convention

Abstract

A spatial dataset of Ramsar sites in the United Kingdom. The dataset does not include sites in the UK's Overseas Territories or the Crown Dependencies. Ramsar sites are wetlands of international importance designated under the Ramsar Convention. Ramsar sites are submitted to the Ramsar Secretariat by JNCC on behalf of the UK Government.
