Abstract

Dataset showing Wildlife Habitat Networks within the Wakefield District as defined in the Site Specific Policies Local Plan adopted 12 September 2012. The Council has designated Local Wildlife Sites which are sites of local wildlife value containing habitats and species identified in the Wakefield District Local Biodiversity Report. The sites have been designated in accordance with national policy and in consultation with Natural England and ecologists.
