all available routes that will allow vehicular traffic movement from east to west and north to sout of the City boundaries were identified by our traffic management office and ploted onto GIS, creating a Through Routes layer on a map. With various highway activities taking place on our roads each week, we try to keep at least one east to west, west to east, south to north and north to south routes clear of any road closures to keep the City moving. We select the available road closure free route, depending on planned highway activities. These are presented as colour coded lines on our interactive map.
