Microsatellite results from 192 full-sib offspring with 130 microsatellite markers
This data represents results from a large panel of polymorphic microsatellite markers which were used to generate a genetic linkage map for a Sitka spruce full-sib family utilising Joinmap software. The map was used in conjunction with phenotypic data to identify QTLs that signify correlation between genotype and phenotype. The results were presented in The EU funded Noveltree project as a case study for genetic mapping of important traits in forest species.
