Fossil, dry skeleton, and preserved specimens were mounted for scanning. Our focus was on complete dentitions from embryos to adults. Raw scan data was processed using X-Tek software associated with the Nikon Metrology scanner. This produced VOL and VGI files which can be opened in a variety of 3D rendering programs: VGStudio Max, Drishti and Avizo have been used to produce images in the accompanying folders.
