Lineage

Trowelfuls of littoral substratum were collected and subjected in the laboratory to hand sorting and wet-funnel extraction. Worms then identified using Nielsen and Christensen`s The Enchytraeidae Critical Revision and Taxonomy of European Specie`s (1959) and a research microscope . Not quantitative. At time of survey, GPS not available, so grid refs. estimated from map at low resolution.
