Each site has an identifier (UPRN) which provides a unique link to further detail of NCC property database held on the NPS Connect2 property database. The sites represent land or buildings or services being provided from a privately owned asset e.g. church schools. Further information can be provided from the data supplier.

Lineage

The original paper terrier mapping records were digitised by Data Insight Ltd. of Alton, Hampshire who data captured the original 1/1250 and 1/2500 scale paper, hand coloured maps circa 2000. This data was sample checked and validated as far as possible by NPS. However, due to the number of sites and areas involved this has been a continuing process. This polygonised data was subsequently positionally re-adjusted by Data Insight 2006. There is an ongoing process of removing/archiving, adding and checking sites to ensure the data is valid and current.
