dataset
The dataset is created by the Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) under the direction of the Scottish Government. It has been created from the river catchment area dataset managed and maintained by SEPA. The Scottish Government only has the competence to designate DWPA within the Scotland River Basin District (SRBD) and as such, the attribute data indicated which DWPA are in the SRBD area. The Environment Agency designates the DWPA out with the SRBD. The dataset is managed by the Drinking Water Quality team in the Scottish Government. Attributes included within the dataset area as follows:
SG_ID: Unique identifier for each DWPA.
WB_type: Descriptive name for the area represented by the DWPA.
SRBD: Indicator to show whether or not the DWPA is part of the Scotland River Basin District.
