Lineage

Data collected a number of contractors including Oil Pollution Research Unit, Field Studies Council Research Centre, Cordah Ltd., BMT Cordah Ltd., and Aquatic Survey and Monitoring Ltd (see Appendix 2 on page 33 of the report ASML (2015) SOTEAG rocky shore monitoring programme annual report_final which can be found at http://www.soteag.org.uk/environmental-monitoring/monitoring-reports/. The dataset was QAd internally and sent for archive to the Data Archive for Marine Species and Habitats (DASSH). Methodology was a transect. All of SOTEAG’s data is freely available for non-commercial use. All commercial requests for data will be charged accordingly. Should data be required for commercial use written permission to use the data either in the form of a letter or a contract should be sought. Use will be for a single purpose and the permission will not permit onward transmission of the data or transfer of the conditions of use to a third party; 2. All uses of data must be acknowledged by direct reference to the “Shetland Oil Terminal Environmental Advisory Group/Sullom Voe Association Ltd.”; 3. Depending upon the purpose of the use of the data, SOTEAG may exercise the option to levy a charge for its service. SOTEAG will provide a rationale for the charges levied in each case; 4. A copy of the outputs (reports/publications) resulting from the use of data should be sent to SOTEAG irrespective of conditions of confidentiality of the reports. If any sensitive species or biotope records are present within this dataset, they will have been removed. If you wish to request access to sensitive species records, please contact the metadata contact. The UK Sensitive Species list has been agreed by UK statutory bodies and relevant experts. It can be viewed here https://docs.nbnatlas.org/sensitive-species-list/. Please note sensitive species lists can vary across the UK. This data set has an associated photo archive which can be made available upon request by contacting dassh.enquiries@mba.ac.uk.
