These are the Minerals Consultation and Safeguarding Areas for East Sussex and Brighton & Hove (and the South Downs National Park within) as defined in the East Sussex, South Downs, and Brighton & Hove Waste and Minerals Sites Plan 2017. They should be used in conjunction with the Sites Plan and may be subject to revision at any time. Planning Authorities should consult the Minerals Planning Authority on any planning application which may affect a Mineral Consultation Area. Minerals Wharves and Railheads are not included in this dataset.
