Abstract

NOTE: This dataset must not be shared outside the Environment Agency as it contains personal data. Contact the Technical Custodian for more information. Environment Agency have telematics installed in most commercial vehicles, vans and HGVs as well as high value assets such as tractors and excavators. Information is stored by the supplier and periodic reports are generated and shared with users and Defra Group Fleet Services. Data collected from telematics includes date/time, location, speed, recorded events (harsh turning, accelerating or braking), driver, fuel usage and number of miles travelled.
