Children's Education
I think it is essential that children are educated at a very early age with the use of books and parents reading to them i also think there should be a much bigger emphasis on reading by the goverment and possibly a fund to help people read or an insentive for more parents to read yo there children.
Ante-natal classes are a good
Ante-natal classes are a good starting point, then I think, there are a lot of books and TV programmes to help. Schools are becoming very involved (PSHE) and finally, I think there are many parenting courses available.
Parenting Skills
Why should the Government be involved in this or do we truly want to live in a proper Nanny State rather than a metaphoric one. Buy a book, there are plenty available.
We need to stop expecting the state to do everything for us. The more they do the less capable future generations will become.
We should give our best
Nowadays, in many countris parents, but not only, are expecting that the others, most of all the state and the president to improve the lifestyle, which of course it depends on us. If we want our children to be strong and to do something we should educate them and learn them as they could manage in life with no other help, we first should learn them how to survive. We have to teach them to be independent and even if sometimes it might be extremely difficult, we should stop controlling them and their lifes.
If we know what to do to survive, then we need no help, so - we'll live longer. It's our choice, as Shakespeare says, we choose: To BE or not to BE. I hope us to be the best examples for others parents that don't know what to do and how to manage in life.
