Map Planning Applications

All planning applications should be pinpointed on a map with direct links to all related documents, decisions etc.. The map should also include space for visible
public feedback.
This information can be very hard to find with the current system.

Right area but can we do more

Planning is contentious, directly affecting peoples' lives and overwhelmingly suspected to be massively corrupt.

Could we build on this idea with linked data e.g. link the meetings, gift, hospitality, voting record of councilllors and senior planners to the applicants and applications for planning permissions - in particular new housing/retail or change of use.  This would not only increase access to information on applications, but would tighten the net around those who seek subvert due process for financial/political gain.
