To have data on Transition Towns both in the UK and Globally. Link this to renewable energy, Peak Oil, Climate Change, Permaculture and Community Projects data.

Hi,

my name's Ed, I'm the web co-ordinator for Transition Network. Good call - we're very keen on sharing our data and have got a development phase coming up about exactly this, so it's great to see this.

The googlemaps are out of date - please don't use them. We moved into a user-managed directory on our website here:

http://www.transitionnetwork.org/initiatives

You can see all/official/muller initaitives, by country, theme etc. etc. We can provide this data as a spreadsheet and will be looking into RSS and other data sharing in a few weeks... NB this is only a list of those initiatives that add themselves to the directory (we're a movment not a tightly controlled organisation).
