Local government services directory by post code.
The enquirer enters their post code or town and from a drop down list picks a local service.
Telephone Number, Email, Address and Web Site details could be shown.
Services could be:
Parliamentry Representative,
Tax Office, Customs and Excise Office, Hospital, C.A.B, Local Council, Regional Government Office, etcetera

Interesting Proposition
This sounds like a promising proposition, I wonder though, does all the information exist in the Open Data for all of these facilities. If not perhaps a more phased rollout approach could be taken where one type of service is rolled out followed by the remaining ones. For example I can see the immediate use for GP / Hospitals. Developers could utilise the Google Maps API to give poitioning data including automatically picking up the users current location. This is especially true in modern browsers where geo-location information can be extracted ditrectly from the browser (or mobile device!).
If you are at Young Rewired State (http://youngrewiredstate.org), maybe this is something to consider?
