The wiki is a potentially useful resource being underutilised and exploited because no one can create new articles.
The permissions are up the spout.
There is a link from every dataset page to a proto-wiki page. Unfortunately if the wiki page is not there yet, ordinary mortals like me cannot create the page.
Leigh Dodds posted a fantastic email to the uk-government-data-developers mailing list about data dumps that really should be on the wiki.
Unfortunately no one ihas sufficient permissions to create a page to hold it.
Look, if the wiki is to become a meaningful tool for sharing knowledge and data, you need to get this sorted out soon.
I reported this same issue months ago.
Please can we create new articles?

Thanks for your post - a user who is logged into data.gov.uk should be able to edit the wiki (https://www.data.gov.uk/wiki) - please let us know however if you do encounter any problems with this whilst logged into the site. You can flag any issues either to team@data.go.uk or in this thread.

The Wiki seems to be working OK for me (as a logged in user).
Maybe it needs some better navigation or at least popular topics putting on the homepage.
when i try to access wiki page, if gave error. There is a problem in wiki page. I t need to be fixed by web administrator

I don't think wiki is useful,it's hard to manage for a green hand like me.
i think wiki also useful. please create wiki page.
