Does anyone know if there is a free dataset/shapefile available anywhere that contains the locations of Airports & Railway Stations in the UK?

It seems this got published the day after you mentioned it; the NaPTAN database of all bus/air/rail stops and more.
IMHO not terribly easy to use though, unless you have experience in that sort of thing.
