Ordnance Survey Open Government Licence and Crown copyright?
Now that Crown copyright is licenced under the Open Government Licence what happens to material in departments like Ordnance Survey where the material is labeled as Crown copyright?
Is all Crown copyright material automatically using the Open Government Licence, and if so how to Ordnance Survey impose other restrictions of use?
Is the Open licemce optional for Crown copyright and if so, how will we know when sometinh is labeled as Crown copyright whether it is covered by the Open Government Licence or whether other restrictions ate imposed?
Apologies for replying to my own post, but a bit of information for anyone interested.
I found out that the Open Government Licence doesn't apply to Crown copyright material from IFTS members (Information Fair Trader Sheme)

I just hope all these members make it clear they are IFTS members rather than just saying their material is Crown copyright.

The OGL is published on The National Archives' site, and this is what they say about it: "The OGL covers information where the relevant rights owner, or Information Provider which has authority to license the Information for use, make it expressly available for use under the terms of the OGL." HMSO manages the rights for most Crown Copyright stuff - except all the delegations (which make up most of the IFTS, as you've noted).

That seems quite clear cut to me: nothing is licensed under the OGL unless the right person says it is; HMSO has applied it to some stuff, the delegated authorities will each make their own call.
