Working Tax Credit (WTC)

Working Tax Credit (WTC) is additional to CTC for families with children. It tops up the earnings of such families on low or moderate incomes, and includes an element equal to 70% (in 2005-06) of eligible childcare costs. A family/s entitlement to WTC depends on its income.
