Road Accidents and Safety Data

These files provide detailed data about the circumstances of personal injury road accidents in GB between 2005 and 2010, the types of vehicles involved and the consequential casualties. The statistics relate only to personal injury accidents on public roads that are reported to the police, and subsequently recorded, using the STATS19 accident reporting form.

This dataset is NOT for the whole of GB, it is just the NE, NW and a couple of cities. It is hugely detailed but the metadata is wrong to suggest it is for GB.
