Posted by NHS Information Centre for Health and Social Care on 24/04/2012 0 comments
Summary
This report presents the provisional, experimental and monthly figures for headcount, full time equivalent, role count and turnover of NHS Hospital and Community Health Service (HCHS) staff groups working in England (excluding primary care staff).
As a part of the monthly data series, from January 2011 we also publish quarterly supplemental information. The aim is to provide additional granularity at organisational level, explore the data to indicate data quality issues and to also highlight areas of interest.
Experimental statistical publications seek feedback from users on content, accuracy and methodology. Consequently, and in light of their provisional status, they may be subject to revision in subsequent issues.
The NHS IC welcomes feedback on the methodology and tables within this publication. Please contact the NHS IC with your comments and suggestions, clearly stating ‘Monthly HCHS Workforce' as the subject heading, via enquiries@ic.nhs.uk or 0845 300 6016. The NHS IC intends publishing these figures here monthly.
