Missing data for 23 - 28 Febuary

Hi.

Why are readings (for use of all energy types and water) for period 23-28 Feb 11 (inc) missing from the published data for the Home Office.

This seems to afflict all those offices that are using the 'EcoDriver' system to release their information (DfT, DFID, MOD and MOJ).   Also, the date formatting goes awry for readings from February (again this afflicts all those using the EcoDriver system).   For example, disabling the date formats to reveal the underlying date codes clearly shows coding is wrong (e.g. consecutive dates don't consecutive encodings).

Please can release the missing data or explain why it is missing (and why has it not been noticed before?).  Please sort out the date formatting, as this causes serious problems in trying to analyse the data.

Regards

Jamal

Hi Jamal

we passed your question on to the Home Office, please see their response below, in full. Please feel free to follow up with further questions, if you have any:

Thanks,

Chetan

Jamal,

A new version of February’s readings, including the previously missing data, has now been published for the Home Office and other affected departments.

This information has always been available via each department’s real time display (RTD) but was missing from the February CSV file that is generated and also hosted on the RTD site. The CSV file is made available for others to use the raw data captured from our building: as it was always available in the interactive RTD, and none of our other users had reported the problem, we weren’t aware of its omission from the CSV file – so many thanks for bringing this to our attention, much appreciated.

The problem you are experiencing with the date convention seems to be caused by Zoho Sheet, as the date format used in the published CSV files has not changed since the system went live one year ago.
