You probably already have Flash - why not Silverlight? Together they are going to make up a vast swathe of content online until HTML5 becomes ubiquitous - and that isn't going to happen any time soon.
I really don't understand the need of fanboys to deliberately ostracise themselves from certain technologies because they don’t originate from their favourite multinational conglomerate...
