Accuracy of Data

Mr Cook.
Please note Wyer should be Wyre and Burnly should be Burnley. If we could only get the address data. The way around it is to manually look at all schools websites. Really good for all of the other fields. Thanks for that

Quickly looking at some of the data it is already out of date by nearly 18 months one of the Headteachers is no longer at one of the schools. Just wondering how the DPA applies to this data?

Unfortunately I no longer work for LCC but I know that the addresses of the schools should be available in the XML.
I'll contact them and ask them to look at it for you.

The data is not part of the official school data held by LCC but I believe is updated on an add hock bases from the "official records"

Regarding DPA; All the data supplied is freely available from the Lancashire County Council website and is in the public domain.

Could you say a bit more about how you derived the data for this app?

Is the XML generated live from Edubase?

Or is it updated only when there are changes?

All the data supplied is freely available from the Lancashire County Council website and is in the public domain.
I just grabbed the data we already had available, which should be updated from the LCC main DB regularly but as you can see
some of the data is out of date.
Unfortunately I no longer work at LCC but I will contact my old department and ask them to update the records and look into why the address
element is empty in the xml.
